9-Steps To A Re-Sync of Time and Space

wintersolstice

So, I’ve been wanting to find a good way to re-synchronize with my time and space since I learned how the Georgian calendar was formed (yuck). Since I’ve been blogging about Kemetic Studies; and done a lot of writing for my first Kemetic Mythology book, “The Chronicles of Sekhmet on Olmecra”; I’ve decided to incorporate that rhythm into a synchronization calendar for days with intentions.

This calendar re-synchronization is a fusion of Kemetic beliefs, Kiswahili culture and Olmec (Mayan) counting systems.

I wanna share my first four week attempt; and get any feedback. But first let me explain how I used modulation to construct it:

Step 1. Solar New Years Day

Because we daily salute the Sun; I want to make sure my sync is celebrating the longest day of the year (Summer Solstice) as my New Year. In North America, this day is around June 21st each year. I know some say Kemet and the Olmec calculated July 26th as their New Year. But I’m sticking to what I personally have evidence of. Besides all that, Juneteenth Celebration is a particularly favorite for me. So I like celebrating the New Year around the same time Texans realized the country was finally liberated from chattel slavery nonsense.

Step 2. 52-Weeks of 7-Chakras

There are approximately 365 days in our full solar rotation. Keeping with the seven days per week model, to sync with the seven primary chakra; I use 52-weeks for my solar cycle.

Step 3. Poles and Moons

The sacred four-poles our Earth orbits, (South, East, North and West), nicely correspond to the four major phases of our moon (New, 1st Qtr, Full and 3rd Qtr). It takes approximately 13 of these moons to complete my 52-weeks, 364 day solar cycle (7 x 4 x 13 = 364). So I’m using a standard 4-week, 7-day format for 13-moons (months). For each moon number; I use the sacred number interpretations for month-long focus points. For instance, the number 10 is interpreted as “completeness” and perceived in Ancient Kemet to be used for recycling the prime numbers one and zero.

Step 4. Goddess Energy

To sync with my Lynoness Path Goddess Energy; for each four moon phases, I focus on the attributes of my Divi9 Femi9:

Moon Week1: THINKING like Goddess Shesat & Maat;

Moon Week2: NURTURING like GodIs NebHet, Mami Wata & Goddess HetHeru;

Moon Week3: ATTRACTING like GodIs Nuut & GodIs Aset;

Moon Week4: POWER like GodIs TefNuut & Goddess Sekhmet;

Step 5. Where to Start

The 2017 Summer Solstice started on Wednesday, June 21st.  So each week of my calendar synchronization will start with Jumatano (Wednesday). My start date is today, Feb 28, 2018. Counting from June-21-2017, I’m at Moon#10 and Solar Week#37. The 2018 Summer Solstice will begin on Thursday, June 21st. So I plan to shift my calendar for the extra day the Olmec called a “Day Out of Time.” And I will call my “Day Out of Time” New Year’s Eve.

Step 6. Kiswahili Days

Here are the days of the week displayed in Kiswahili:

Wednesday: Jumatano

Thursday: Alhamisi

Friday: Ijumaa

Saturday: Jumamosi

Sunday: Jumapili

Monday: Jumatatu

Tuesday: Jumanne

Step 7. Daily Intention Synchronization

With each week consisting of seven days; I give each day in Kiswahili an intentional focus:

Jumatano: Simply satisfied with my roots and Mother Earth.

Alhamisi: Passion for creative energy.

Ijumaa: Harnessing personal power from the sun.

Jumamosi: Be a loving being.

Jumapili: Sharing knowledge, truth and art.

Jumatatu: Practice intuition.

Jumanne: Connecting to the cosmos.

Step 8. Rainbow Bridge Syncing

Bridging with other people in far away places is important to any Earth Goddess using her chakra energies. So I’ve picked seven places I would go using a Rainbow as the bridge:

Jumatano: The Heart of AfRaKa

Alhamisi: Nubian Matriarchy Kemet

Ijumaa: Mali

Jumamosi: Haiti

Jumapili: The Yucatan

Jumatatu: Kalifornia (California when Queen Kalifa ruled)

Jumanne: Papua New Guinea

Step 9. Pull the Modules Together

When I combine all these module steps together; I get the following Daily Earth Goddess Energy Synchronization for Time and Space:

Dying No Matter How “Simple”

With heavy heart I post something I was introduced to last night at a lecture.

The lecturer suggested and showed images of the Great Barrier Reef and how it has been severely damaged.

If you Google the words “Great Barrier Reef”, most likely links will list about how scientist are arguing whether the reef is dying:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/oct/14/great-barrier-reef-severe-stress-not-dead-yet

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/scientists-take-on-great-barrier-reef-obituary_us_57fff8f1e4b0162c043b068f

This posting is not to argue the dying of the reef, but rather to make the reader aware that data shows approximately 25% of the reef is no longer alive and not re-generating.

My concern is…Are we consciously polluting mother earth again AND how do we stop it?

So good or bad, uncomfortable as it is…I post someone’s evidence below I hope is not true:

Here is what a healthy reef can look like:

gbr-healthy

Here is a reef “bleached” from global warming and acidity:

gbr-bleached

Approx. three-months after “bleaching” this reef died:

gbr-dead

If you can’t relate to something you consider as “simple” as reef…I don’t agree but I hear you.

But unfortunately, I have friends and family going through the same process (healthy/bleached/dead).

So Know the ancient Kemetic proverb, “As Above, Also Below”…we must take concern and consideration for all of mother’s (nature) children.

Love & Hotep!

Phase III – One Day My Soul Just Opened Up Commentaries

Phase III of the book speaks to honoring others and I realized a lot about how we sometimes go straight to judgmental-mode when we think we are “Helping.”

SoulOpenedUpBook

For instance Prayers:  what I’m inter-standing is that The Divine will honor the prayers of the Self over the prayers of others for that Self.  So that, we must honor what ever that Self is praying for over what we want for that Self.

One of the hardest things to do (especially as a loving-protecting parent) is to NOT expect others to live up to our expectations.  The Divine honors the choice of the Self.

Again I mention:  Freedom = to choose who you are; what you believe; and how you will live.

Day 17 – 22 in comments to this post.

Peace – Justice- Harmony

Mother’s Watching

Luau Sunset

She loves us from Nature…

…sending fresh air to our lungs as the trees release oxygen.

…singing a lullaby by way of chirping birds.

…touching us with gentle winds that blow over our skin.

…feeding us colorful fruits and vegetables that keep us healthy.

…showing us useful lessons from Her animal kingdom.

HawaiianFruit

Believe it, Mother (Nature) is watching us. What? Are we trying to hide from Her?

…spending too much time “inside” our homes; in office buildings or trying to make other connections by way of religion?

QUICK! Open the door and windows so Nature can see you!

Turn off the TV and hear the song of chirping, whistling and rustling!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Let the Sun touch your skin and the Ocean waves take you into Her rhythmic dance!

Play in her lush grasses and make mud pies from her royal rich soils!

No need to run in fear and fright from raindrops as she softly bathes the world the way She knows is best!

Be Smart, Be Kind, be Her loving child.

Mother is Always Watching.

Meditating TekKen Pose

TeKken Pose to Open Energy Channels

There are a lot of questions on how to meditate…how to do it correctly?…how long to do it to be effective?

MeditationEnergyMy journey leads me to understand meditation not only can be done anywhere, anytime and anyway; but a true Neo-Kemetic Yogi practices to stay in meditation perpetually.

One of my favorite ways to begin a focused meditation session is the TeKken Pose as described by Master Yirser Ra Hotep of YogaSkills.com. Master Ra Hotep has spent over 30-yrs researching illustrations (written in the stone) in Kemet (Ancient Egypt) and seeking understanding on how the images display and describe the practice of yoga.

Hatshepsut Teken

Usually, the goal of Smai Tawi (Kemetic Yoga) is to open energy channels for yoking the mind and body…the benefit being to enhance health and healing.

The sequence in the first video link below starts with a standing TeKken pose and finishes seated…practicing an alternating breath exercise. Shu is the Kemetic word for “breath” and the NTR responsible for gravity.

Because Smai Tawi incorporates “moving with breath in meditation”, I personally embrace this form of yoking the mind and body (ie definition of yoga).

The TeKken (otherwise known as the obelisk) represents different forms of symbolism from different perspectives. To keep this blog short, I’ll just pass along my accepted perspective that the TeKken represents rays of sunshine.  The Sun is energy, and as I often sun-gaze, the sun-rays look to me like TeKken.

teken sun rays

The TeKken pose is a simple but highly effective way to settle the mind and open energy channels for meditation. I encourage you to watch the YouTube video links below; and in addition elaborate how I begin meditating using the sequence:

Get Focused
*Standing straight up with my shoulders back and relaxed; feet together; hands to the sides of the thighs; and head comfortably level forward (looking into the future) usually directs my mind to set an intention for the exercise. Sometimes I need to take 3-long breaths here to clear my mind.

Stay Focused
*In the video, Master Ra Hotep instructs holding the tongue to the top of the mouth to enhance energy connectivity.

Become a Ray of Sun
*Once my arms are over my head with my hands pointing to the sky, I meditate being one of the many rays of Sun emitting light from the sky.

Open Throat Chakra
*Lowering the back of my head while in pose opens my throat energy channels for enhancement of communication paths as I face the sky (ancestors). After 3-breaths, I return my head to its level position looking forward (into the future again.)

Perfect Aura
*After taking a few deep breaths with the head comfortably looking into the future again, I meditate on using the sun-ray/TeKken created to develop an aura of light and protection while dropping my arms back to my sides.

Sometimes I repeat the sequence until I’m satisfied with the enlightened aura of protection I’ve created.  And then I’m prepared to begin my personal session of meditation…hopefully still focused on the intention I initially set.

There are many videos on the web for variations of the TeKken Pose. The first video link below is great for those who are very new to Smai Tawi and not ready for intense flexibility poses.  About 4-minutes into the video, Master Ra Hotep starts TeKken Pose instructions:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P4HLmdEfPU

This video link below doesn’t require a lot of flexibility; but incorporates at least 9 to 10-minutes of standing.  The forward bend is great for channeling energy through the spine and lower back:

Many will agree…Meditation is Medicine.  Once you feel comfortable to begin a practice, I hope it brings health and healing to you too.

As always, thanks ALL for the shared text, images and video 🙂
